30 seconds Digital Magic
We have to choose a favourite effect shot (Zach King's video) as a reference for this project. Video I  chosen for this project :

Lecture's Feedback :
Too many effect shots, the requirement was only 20 seconds. Furthermore, how to shoot imagine sandwich scene?

After the feedback given, I changed my plot segmentation.

Storyboard :

Lecturer's Feedback :
- The storyboard should be more detailed, need to write the shooting angle.
- Delete shot no.1 and 2, I can start from no.3 wide shot.
- No.4 medium shot walk to the table.
- Shot no.4 and no.6 can combine as a same frame.

Before I start shooting, I realized that I have faced a big problem for the background. Due to CMCO, Selangor had locked down and I need to go back to my hometown, Malacca. The storyboard I need to redo again and rethink again where and how should I shoot the video. However, I was planning to take out all the things in my fridge but my mom said SHE WILL KILL ME. Meanwhile, I need to change my plot segmentation again.

Lecturer's Feedback :
This is work but I need to find a tutorial first, Otherwise if I can't edit the outcome I want it was wasting time.

I tried to find the tutorial but I couldn't find it. Therefore, I tried to take a scene and tried to edit see it is work a not.

Mr. Martin suggested me to go with both of them. But I think it was quite difficult. So I decided to try with my third idea first if it couldn't work, then I'll go with one of them.

I cannot find the tutorial for the car effect shot but I will try to edit first.

Progress :

I tried to edit the video like what I was planned for but I found that it wasn't really working (like what Mr. Martin expected).  Therefore, as Mr. Martin suggested, I change my story again to short and easier.

I started to film all the shot. It wasn't as easy as I thought during the shooting. The effect shoot I've retake many times because my hand was shaking and the position wasn't the same every time. This scene took me a lot of time and the problem I was facing is my tripod which I left at Subang, meanwhile I need to use whatever things I have to replace the tripod. Besides that, I edit the effect shot in After Effect.

 Finally, I'm happy with my outcome.

Lecturer's Feedback :
The editing works well. I should add some ambience sound and adjust the volume between -20 to -25.

I downloaded some ambience sound from Google and also record some ambience sound that I couldn't found from online. As a result, this is my final outcome :

WEEK 1 (16 / 04 / 2020 ) Lectures :  After briefing of the class, we installed Photoshop and played a game named Bezier . It's not very challenging for me because I have finished this game on Monday in the Illustration and Visual Narrative class. So this is the second time I played this game as practising . The contrast are built with black and white but he used 3 plain colours (orange , red and purple) to highlight the split between of them.
