Week 11 / How to Turn Your Dissertation into Article :


RESEARCH FOR JOURNAL PUBLICATION

Week 13 ( 24/06/2021 )
For the final assessment, we are required to Adapt our dissertation into a concise paper suitable for publication, adhering to The Design School KREATE. We need to download the KREATE Raw Input to submit this assignment. Follow the required word count for each section with the attached font provided. Since is it a relatively shorter requirement, we ought to choose a part of our dissertation into the discussion in this article. Perhaps, focus only on one of the research questions/research objectives. However, template with the specific font to be used and we are not allowed to edit the format set in the template as described in the Manuscript Preparation Guide of the journal.

I downloaded the template provided in Google Classroom and started to write the journal. Dr.Hayati suggested that I should focus on the second research objective which is about the storytellings. Below is my first draft :

Lecturer's Feedback :
- Rethink the title, Dr.Hayati suggested that me to take one of the objectives.
- Read back to what I had written again, check if it emphasizes the topic I was involving.
- The article only focuses on a specific topic.
- Check the word count.

Week 14 ( 01/07/2021 )
According to the feedback given by Dr.Hayati, I had changed all the issues that she had mentioned last week. I had added three images to the journal which I think it was relevant to the journal. Besides that, I think all the sentences was relevant to the chosen research objective after I had read the whole journal again and again. Finally, below is my final outcome :

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGING - Week 1

WEEK 1 (16 / 04 / 2020 ) Lectures :  After briefing of the class, we installed Photoshop and played a game named Bezier . It's not very challenging for me because I have finished this game on Monday in the Illustration and Visual Narrative class. So this is the second time I played this game as practising . The contrast are built with black and white but he used 3 plain colours (orange , red and purple) to highlight the split between of them.
