PART 1 / PRECOMP

Week 3 ( 09/09/2021 )
We are required to download the Adobe After Effects template which provided in Google Classroom. However, Based on the 4 principles basic animation provided, create and animate another 4 basic animation below:
1. SYMMETRY 
2. FOCUS 
3. SCALE 
4. RHYTHM

I search a lot of references from YouTube, Pinterest and Google for inspiration before starting to animate in After Effects. Actually I was quite confuse about the Rhythm and Symmetry principles but I tried to animate what I had understood for Mr. Fauzi to check next week.

PART 2 / PRECOMP

Week 4 ( 15/09/2021 )
Due to the public holiday, Hari Malaysia. We had a class replacement early on Wednesday. Mr. Fauzi checked my part 1 outcome then mentioned that it was good enough to move on to Part 2. Meanwhile, I continue to animate the part 2 of this project.

Furthermore, Mr. Fauzi want us to upload our final outcome to YouTube then submit the link to Google Classroom. The reason is because his Google Drive was full. Last but not least, below is my final outcome for this module's first project :

Lecturer's Feedback :
Part 1 : Scale a little bit too fast but it's fine. 
Part 2 : Nice! The motion snap to the beat.
Overall was good. 

REFLECTION

This project looks simple but actually it needs some time to explore and study the principles. However, the only difficult part for me in this project is to find a suitable music for the motion. Sometimes I found a music that I think was matched to the mood but the duration was longer than the video, then I will need to cut down the music to become shorter but then it becomes weird. Fortunately, I found a suitable one for this project and I was very happy with my final outcome although it was simple.

WEEK 1 (16 / 04 / 2020 ) Lectures :  After briefing of the class, we installed Photoshop and played a game named Bezier . It's not very challenging for me because I have finished this game on Monday in the Illustration and Visual Narrative class. So this is the second time I played this game as practising . The contrast are built with black and white but he used 3 plain colours (orange , red and purple) to highlight the split between of them.
