PROJECT 3

Week 7 ( 07/10/2021 )
For this project, we will synthesise the knowledge gained in Task 1 and 2 for application in Task 3. We are required to continue with previously chosen channel in Task 2 to create a channel ident motion graphic video.

As usual, the following week is independent learning week. Mr. Fauzi briefed us about this project, and we are required to create moodboard that reflects the concept/idea, storyboard, animatics and explore appropriate audio to uplift the motion tempo between this two weeks.

I prepared a proposal that included Mood Board, Sketch, Storyboard and Animatics in a Google Slides to show Mr. Fauzi on week 9.

Lecturer's Feedback :
I can proceed with this idea. Maybe I can try to add a title at the beginning or ending. Example like a intro of asking to choose the costume or start to play the game.

Week 9 ( 21/10/2021 )
First of all, I draw and illustrate out all the elements in Photoshop. It took me one whole day to prepared all the elements. However, some of the background scenes I downloaded from YouTube and Pinterest.

I animate each scenes separately and save them into different files. I used Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Premium Pro to animate this project. And finally, below is my first draft (without audio) .

Lecturer's Feedback :
- Fix the quality.
- The background needs to create by keyframe.

Week 10 ( 28/10/2021 )
I downloaded a few elements from online to create my own background using keyframe. I also tried to fix the quality of the video because it looks very blur. I had send it to Mr. Fauzi, he commented that all is looks good now. But I will need to rename the file as Project 3_(ProjectTitle) then insert it into the slide as well with the link. Then we should focus on the Final project. 

I uploaded my final outcome to YouTube and also the Google Slides for the submission.

REFLECTION

For this project, pre-composition in After Effects really helps me a lot to avoid the software clashing issues. I imported many elements and also created many keyframes for each scenes.  I was very happy with my final outcome. Other than that, I found that motion graphic is very fun and interesting during this project. I planned to become a motion graphic designer in my future career.

WEEK 1 (16 / 04 / 2020 ) Lectures :  After briefing of the class, we installed Photoshop and played a game named Bezier . It's not very challenging for me because I have finished this game on Monday in the Illustration and Visual Narrative class. So this is the second time I played this game as practising . In science fiction, the most recognizable portrayal of a cyborg is a human being with visibly mechanical parts .
